Floatech is a supplier of anodes of 100% Si for the next-generation Li-ion batteries, and the only one with Si products for all the upcoming LIB technologies (liquid electrolyte, solid electrolytes and Li-metal). Integration of its Si products enables batteries combining high energy density and fast charge. Its proprietary manufacturing process is based on the continuous thermocatalytic transformation of monosilane (SiH4) directly into a paper-like material composed exclusively of Si nanowires. Customers of its trademark product Si:coil include major automotive and electronics OEMs, as well as reference battery cell manufactures from three continents. It is in the company’s strategy to increase production capacity exponentially to supply its product for the portable electronics and EV market at a scale of kilotons per annum (ktpa) in coming years.
